The overall aims of Physical Education are to help students to develop an active lifestyle and acquire good health, physical fitness, and body coordination through learning various physical and sport skills and knowledge. Various physical activities are included in our school PE curriculum. It is hoped that our students can benefit from trying sports they do not normally play. Through the process of learning PE, students should be able to be master of their own learning and whole-person growth morally, intellectually, physically, socially and aesthetically. All this helps them to cultivate their character and develop their ability to make decisions as well as an appreciation of aesthetic movements.

Characteristics of our PE Curriculum

1. A Wide Variety of Physical Activities
The present school PE curriculum offers a wide range of activities, from the fundamental movement for lower forms to a higher skill level for upper forms.

2. Vertical Curriculum Design
Our school emphasizes the importance of developing the vertical curriculum in terms of the depth and breadth of what students learn throughout their course of study here.

3. Emphasis on Regular Physical Activity Participation
Our school encourages students to engage in regular physical activity. We believe that the development of an active lifestyle may help to tackle the emerging problems of obesity, cardiovascular disease and other health issues among students. It is hoped that such regular exercise can help our students enhance their physical health fitness.

4. Cultivating a Positive Attitude towards PE
The role of PE is to foster character development through cultivating a positive attitude towards PE and motivating students to become active in physical, recreational and sport activities.
